To produce the ideal Absinthe, you should have:-

This method is actually simply the Ritual with a modern twist. It isn’t recognized as an effective way of serving Absinthe but has become popular with the younger generation of Absinthe drinkers who have seen it performed in bars in the Czech Republic.
To make Absinthe using this method, you will need:-
– Absinthe – a low priced one will do, high proof ones could be a bit risky!
– An Absinthe glass
– An Absinthe spoon
– A cube of sugar
– A lighter or match
– A carafe of cold water
Pour a shot of Absinthe in to the glass.
Soak the sugar cube inside the Absinthe, place on spoon after which set it alight.
Let the sugar caramelize, melt and drip into the Absinthe. (Take note it can easily set the Absinthe on fire!).
Gradually drip the iced water in the Asbinthe, watch the louche and after that stir while using the spoon.
